Abstract

Perfeccionamientos introducidos en una instalación para la depuración de los gases que contienen SO2, compuesta por un depósito de reacción primaria que contiene el líquido depurador (=mezcla pastosa o lodos) y que recibe un abastecimiento de agua de compensación de piedra caliza, siendo bombeada la mezcla pastosa hacia un punto de mayor elevación, desde el cual la misma retorna al depósito de reacción principal por y en directo contracto con el gas por un colector dispuesto en un punto de menor elevación para recoger la mezcla pastosa y retornarla al depósito de principal reacción, y además por un depósito de reacción secundaria alimentado tan sólo con una parte de la mezcla pastosa procedente del colector por un condensador abastecido con la primera parte de la mezcla pastosa, procedente del depósito de reacción secundaria, siendo retornado la parte proporcional líquida, desde el mencionado condensador al depósito de reacción principal y por un ciclo de alimentación en retorno para conducir la parte residual de la mezcla pastosa desde el depósito de reacción secundaria a un punto de mayor elevación desde el que la mezcla pastosa es pasada por el gas y en directo contacto con el mismo.
