Abstract
The compensating circuit eliminates harmonics in telecommunications systems and has a device (23) producing a stepped sinewave from a dc supply. The stepped sinewave is passed to a current mirror circuit (7, 8). The reflected current is passed to an active LP filter (21). the filter is designed so that its output compensates the harmonic component of the reflected stepped sinewave from the current mirror.
