Abstract

Un dispositivo intercambiador de calor que comprende dos espacios dispuestos uno encima de otro, estando destinados el espacio superior y el espacio inferior a la circulación, respectivamente, de un fluido frío y de un fluido caliente, caracterizado por una serie de tubos introducidos, en parte, en cada uno de los dos espacios, pero no en comunicación con ellos, conteniendo cada uno de estos tubos un líquido caloportador y un gas inerte, siendo tal la cantidad de este líquido y de este gas, que a la temperatura de funcionamiento deseada, por una parte, permanece en el tubo una cierta cantidad de líquido no vaporizado y, por otra parte, el volumen ocupado por el gas inerte es inferior el volumen del tubo contenido en el espacio superior atravesado por el fluido frío.
