Abstract

Un procedimiento para la esterilización por lotes de materiales sólidos en partículas, caracterizado porque una partida del material sólido en partículas que ha de esterilizarse se introduce en un recipiente giratorio configurado de modo que el giro del recipiente imparte una acción de volteo al material sólido, se calienta el material sólido en el recipiente mientras gira para someter el material a una acción de volteo; se inyecta un líquido lubricante bajo presión en el recipiente a una temperatura superior a la temperatura de los sólidos, se mantiene el líquido lubricante y el material sólido a una temperatura de esterilización mientras que se mantiene la acción de volteo y se extrae del recipiente el material sólido esterilizado.
