Abstract
Método para fabricar tornillos del tipo auto-taladrador que incluye un par de ranuras relativamente largas dispuestas en posiciones opuestas e inclinadas, transportando de manera intermitente los primordios de tornillo sucesivos a parte de un puesto de carga a lo largo de un sólo trayecto generalmente circular para situarlos de manera predeterminada en los sucesivos puestos de trabajo, donde se efectúan unas operaciones de corte giratorio en regiones elegidas de las porciones expuestas de extremidad del vástago, caracterizado porque incluye las operaciones que consisten en acoplar el dispositivo de corte giratorio, en un puesto de trabajo adyacente al trayecto circular, con una región predeterminada del vástago adyacente ala extremidad y formar una primera porción de ranura en el vástago, acoplar el dispositivo de corte giratorio en otro puesto de trabajo adyacente al trayecto circular, con una segunda región predeterminada separada axialmente de dicha primera región predeterminada y formaruna segunda porción de ranura en el vástago, la cual se une con la primera porción de ranura, configurando así una sola ranura sustancialmente continua en un lado de la extremidad del vástago del primordio de tornillo.
