Procedimiento para preparar ácido 5-nitro-2-tenoico, de fórmula: *** ver imagen 01 por reacción de 5-nitro-2-formil-tiofeno de fórmula: *** ver imagen 02 con un hipohaluro de metal alcalino, formado fuera del medio de reacción a partir de un hidróxido de metal alcalino y un halógeno, o bien formado en el medio de reacción; caracterizado porque en una suspensión acuosa del 5-nitro-2-formil-tiofeno.
