Abstract

In controlling radio communications, problems arise as a result of the same signal transmitted by a vehicle being received simultaneously by a plurality of stationary receivers. To avoid these problems, the phase of the output signal occurring as a square-wave signal in the receiver after passing through a discriminator (D) and a trigger circuit (T) is modulated in an EXCLUSIVE-OR gate (EO) by a clock signal (TF) arriving from the central station. Before being forwarded via a bandpass filter (BP) to the common data line (S), the signal thus obtained is multiplied in a multiplier (M) by a factor which is derived from the level of the input signal. A low-pass filter (TP) and an amplifier (V), which advantageously has a non-linear characteristic, are used for this purpose. This results in a considerable boosting of the signal arriving from the receiver with the highest input level.
