Abstract

Procedimiento de conversión de energía mecánica o térmica como contrapartida de una variación de las características del fluido de trabajo de una máquina procedimiento que implica, al menos, una etapa de compresión o expansión de un fluido de trabajo en el interior de un rotor, caracterizado porque se hace circular el fluido de trabajo en un conducto solidario del rotor, que describe un circuito que tiene la forma de una espiral, orientada de tal modo que se acerca al eje de rotación del rotor cuando se recorre girando alrededor de este eje en el mismo sentido que el sentido de rotación del rotor, y porque se determinan las características geométricas del conducto en conexión con la condiciones de funcionamiento, de tal modo, que en sus proyecciones acimutales respectivas, la fuerza de rozamiento ejercida por las paredes del conducto sobre el fluido y la fuerza de Coriolis a la que está sometido el fluido, sean del mismo orden de magnitud.
