Abstract
Procedimiento para preparar 3-(2,2-dihaloetenil)-2,2-dimetilciclopropanocarboxilatos de (1,1''-bifenil)-3-ilmetilo, cracterizado por esterificar el correspondiente ácido 3-(2,2- dihaloetenil)-2,2-dimetilciclopropanocarboxílico , o sal reactiva o derivado de haluro de acilo del mismo, con (1,1''-bifenil)-3-ilmetanol añadiendo gota a gota con agitación, bajo una atmósfera seca, un equivalente de cloruro de 3-(2,2-dihaloetenil)-2,2- dimetilciclopropanocarbonilo, disuelto en un disolvente aprótico, a una mezcla enfriada de un equivalente de (1,1''-bifenil)-3-ilmetanol y 1-2 equivalentes de una base de amina en un disolvente aprótico , agitando la mezcla resultante a temperatura ambiente durante 12-24 horas o durante 1-6 horas a una temperatura elevada, extrayendo la mezcla con agua, separando las fases acuosa y orgánica y aislando el producto a partir de la fase orgánica, o con un 3-halometilbifenilo añadiendo una mezcla de un equivalente del 3-halometilbifenilo y una cantidad catalítica de un catalizador de transferencia de fase en un disolvente aprótico a una mezcla seca fría de un equivalente de una base de metal alcalino y un equivalente de ácido 3- (2,2-dihaloetenil)-2,2-dimetilciclopropanocarboxílico en un disolvente aprótico, calentando la mezcla resultante a reflujo durante 4-12 horas, extrayendo la mezcla con agua, separando las fases acuosa y orgánica, y aislando el producto de la fase orgánica.
