Abstract

The combustion air humidifier is used in oil burners. The humidifier is compact and readily installed into the burner. The rectangular vessel (2) has an air inlet filter (9) in one side wall. This is connected to the air supply pipe which is held completely within the vessel (2). The air supply pipe has an externally adjusted restrictor valve. The air supply pipe is held below water level. Air is drawn through a pipe above the water level.
