Abstract

Un procedimiento para la preparación de sales de ácidos alfa-olefinsulfónicos adecuadas para el tratamiento de fibras que consiste en calentar alfa-olefinas de 20 o más átomos de carbono a una temperatura superior a 40ºC, después hacerlas reaccionar con SO3 gaseoso para formar alfa-olefin-sulfonatos, a continuación calentar los sulfonatos resultantes a una temperatura superior a 50ºC, neutralizarlos con una solución alcalina y calentar de nuevo a una temperatura superior a 80ºC para efectuar la hidrólisis.
