Abstract

The power connection between the bearing crank (14) and the wiper shaft (10) of the vehicle windscreen wiper unit is accomplished via a coupling (21, 23). The coupling consists of a depression (21) in a driving piece (20) interacting with a projection (23) on a disc (22) attached in the central region to the wiper shaft (10). The coupling is released by pulling axially on the wiper shaft using axial pressure. The driving pieces (20, 22) are located on the shaft within the bearing sleeve (13).
