Abstract
The lysine salt of alpha-methyl-2-isopropyl-5-indanylacetic acid, of formula (I), is a new cpd. Cpd. (I) has analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity. It has high stability and high water-solubility, giving neutral solns. In an example, (I) is prepd. from 1-lysine carbonate and alpha-methyl-2-isopropyl-5-indanylacetic acid.
