Abstract

Un aparato electrocrómico perfeccionado para la presentación visual de información en un equipo de tratamiento de datos, cuyo aparato comprende: un electrólito que contiene un material electrocrómico; en el electrólito, una pluralidad de electrodos de presentación, estando los electrodos de presentación eléctricamente conectados en por lo menos un grupo para hacer posible la selección de electrodos de presentación; unos medios para seleccionar por lo menos algunos electrodos de presentación; unos medios de efectuar el depósito de un recubrimiento visible de especie coloreada, derivado del material electrocrómico, sobre los electrodos de presentación seleccionados; y unos medios de efectuar el depósito de un recubrimiento invisible de la especie coloreada sobre todos los electrodos de presentación no seleccionados, de tal modo que se igualen o equilibren los potenciales de los electrodos de presentación seleccionados y no seleccionados.
