Abstract

Un procedimiento para preparar copolímeros de monómeros cíclicos de (a) al menos un monómero orgánico cíclicoque experimenta polimerización por adición con apertura de anillo en presencia de un iniciador que contiene hidrógeno activopara formar un grupo terminal hidroxilo primarioy (b) por lo menos un monómero orgánico cíclicoque experimenta polimerización por adición con apertura de anillo en presencia de un iniciador que contiene hidrógeno activopara formar un grupo terminal hidroxilo secundarioteniendo dicho copolímero una relación controlada de grupos terminales hidroxilo primarios a secundarioscomprendiendo dicho procedimiento introducir continuamente por lo menos una composición de alimentación polimerizable principal en cuanto a contenido de composición de (a) y (b) en dicha zonadurante dicha introducción continua; añadir simultáneamente a dicha fuente de alimentación principal y mezclar en ella íntimamentepor lo menos una composición de alimentación auxiliar diferentedesde por lo menos una fuente de alimentación auxiliarde manera que varíe continuamente el contenido de composición de (a) y (b) en dicha fuente de alimentación polimerizable principal; y polimerizar la composición de alimentación polimerizable principal introducida en la zona de polimerizaciónhasta que se haya conseguido la polimerización deseada.
