Abstract

Procedimiento para producir un artículo metálico resistente a la corrosión, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de: a) chapar el artículo metálico con al menos una capa de un metal chapable, aplicándose entonces al menos una de las capas al artículo metálico mediante chapado mecánico de la misma; b) aplicar un revestimiento de cromato inhibidor de la corrosión al artículo chapado metálicamente; c) enjuagar la superficie revestida con cromato resultante lavando abundantemente la solución de cromado en exceso que permanece sobre la misma; d) revestir la superficie enjuagada con un polímero para formar una capa polimérica sobre la superficie enjuagada; y e) curar la capa polimérica para formar una película dura.
