Abstract

Process for improving the dry strength of a corrugating medium, with a polymer containing at least about 10% by weight of acrylamide bonds and between 5 and 60 mol% of quaternized dialkylaminomethylated acrylamide bonds, characterized in that it comprises adding to the fibrous suspension of said corrugating medium between about 0.10 and 3% by weight of said polymer, based on the dry weight of the fiber, at a ph of about 6 to 10; forming a web of said corrugator means; and drying said cloth.
