Abstract
The socket connection is used for pressure regulators and valves esp. on liquefied gas bottles. The connection fitting has an external collar held by a radially moving latch connected to a fluid flow control switch. The valve actuator (30) is a rocking arm pivoted on the circumference of the connection socket (10). This arm is connected by a crank to the valve closing piston (27). This has conical faces (28) which form between them a seat for a valve plunger (22). The rocking lever is actuated by a wedge shaped spring loaded ratchet element (37). The mounting socket has a handle cap (10) for actuation.
