Abstract

Procedimiento para la fabricación de filamentos sintéticos que tienen una sección transversal sustancialmente transversal sustancialmente rectangular, para ser utilizados en céspedes sintéticos, siendo los filamentos estirados en la proporción deseada después de haber sido configurados por extrusión a través de una abertura, a una presión superior a la atmosférica, caracterizado porque mediante un fluido bajo presión, tal como vapor de agua o aire, los filamentos son alimentados a un espacio cerrado de prensado o rizado, el cual contiene una acumulación de filamentos previamente alimentados, y los filamentos son descargados subsiguientemente desde dicho espacio, realizándose el procedimiento de tal manera que los filamentos son dotados de pliegues, los cuales están orientados de una manera tan diferente que se aumenta la flexibilidad de los filamentos en direcciones que se apartan esencialmente del eje de simetría más corto de dicha sección transversal rectangular.
