Abstract

Process for the preparation of a solid pigment composition for printing and enamelling systems, of the type containing a pigment and an acid resin, characterized in that in its embodiment it comprises, in a first phase, treating with an acid an aqueous-alcoholic solution of a polyacrylic resin carboxylic acid group carrier having an acid number of from 30 to 300, especially from 50 to 150, insoluble in water and alkalized, preferably to the ammonium or amine salt form of whose acid treatment the precipitation of said resin results; and, in a second phase, raising the temperature between 60º and 90º c, dealing with said resin, previously released by segregation and/or evaporation of the alkali ammonium or amine component, or optionally before separation of the latter, a solid pigment, preferably from the disazo series.
