Abstract

Un método para preparar una mezcla de un 4-(hidroximetil)-imidazol y un 4-(alcohiloximetilo inferior )- imidazol, que comprende redu cir electroquímicamente un 4-imidazolcarboxilato de alcohilo inferior en ácido sulfúrico al 15-50% a aproximadamente 40-75ºC en una concentración seleccionada dentro del intervalo que va desde 1M hasta el límite superior de solubilidad.
