Abstract

Un procedimiento para la prepación de un material similar a cuero caracterizado porque comprende tratar en una primera fase, una dispersión acuosa, que incluyen en combinación: I) una composición fibrosa constituida por; 30 - 60% en peso de fibras de cuero, 35 - 65% en peso de fibrillas de polímeros sintéticos, con un área superficial superior a 1 m2/g; 5-15% en peso de fibras de celulosa; con II) un ligante para el material fibrosa que constituye la composición antes citada, en una cantidad comprendida entre 3 y 50 partes en peso por 100 partes en peso de la mezcla de fibra, formar en una segunda fase, una lámina o panel mediante deposición de dicha dispersión sobre un lecho filtrante y desarrollar ulteriormente las propiedades adhesivas del ligante a una temperatura inferior a la temperatura de fusión o del polímero que constituye las fibrillas en ésta presentes.
