Abstract

The switching connection control device is designed for telephone exchanges having selectors with latching characteristics. When required, a redirected connection is partly released up to a certain switching stage which cannot again be used, and a new connection is built-up onwards from this stage only. In order to build-up a connection to a third or a further subscriber, an additional latching selector is deliberately operated in a switching stage. Its input is connected to the existing connection between two subscribers while its output is connected to the third or further subscribers. The usual testing, preventing unwanted double connections, is suppressed when the aforementioned selector is operated.
