Abstract

Procedure for obtaining polymeric dyeing additives with a high content of sulfonate groups, characterized in that by radical initiation in aprotic solvents containing amide, they are copolymerized at temperatures of 20-80ºC; (A) 4 to 10 moles-% of an acryl or methacrylamide of general formula I **(See formula)** where R1 signifies H or CH3, R2 signifies a straight or branched chain alkylene moiety, optionally substituted by aryl groups, or an arylene moiety and means a primary, secondary, tertiary or quaternary group, a lithium cation or an equivalent of cation.
