Abstract
Procedure for preparing very pure phosphoric solutions, from impure phosphoric acid in a wet route, in which impure phosphoric acid is extracted countercurrently in the presence of sulfuric acid and water, with a very high extraction yield, by an organic solvent poorly mixable in water and an aqueous phase containing most of the impurities is separated, and an organic solvent phase, from which the phosphoric acid is re-extracted, characterized in that it comprises the following stages: in a first stage, it is extracted at countercurrent impure phosphoric acid in the presence of sulfuric acid and water, by an organic solvent poorly mixable with water; in a second stage, the phosphoric acid in the organic solvent is treated in the presence of sulfuric acid by contact by means of an aqueous solution containing phosphate ions and calcium ions in solution prepared from calcium phosphate, phosphoric acid and water, in respective amounts such that the proportion of calcium ions in solution is between 2 and 6% by weight expressed in CaO, so that the sulfate ions are precipitated in the form of calcium sulfate, and are suspended in said solution; in a third stage, the phosphoric acid is washed with water in the organic solvent; and in a fourth stage, the organic solvent is separated from a purified aqueous phosphoric solution that constitutes the production.
