Abstract

A heat transferable label laminate for affixing to surfaces of a product substrate, comprising means defining an adhesive layer, means defining a printing layer adjacent to said adhesive layer, and means defining a protective layer adjacent to said layer printing, consisting of multiple homogeneously intermixed components comprising at least two polymer components, one of said polymer components comprising a reinforcement of a matrix of the second of said polymer components, the polymer mixture being essentially immobile and resistant to exposure to room temperature at alcohols, oils, and detergents, under heat transfer labeling conditions.
