Abstract

Procedimiento para clorbromar polibutadieno polibutadieno o un copolimero de butadieno- isopreno, para impartir a los mismos mejoras propiedades de termoestabilidad y pirorretardancia , caracterizado porque comprende: mezclar entre sii cantidades aproximadamente equimolares de bromo y cloro a una temperatura de 0º a 15ºC de manera que se forme cloruro de bromo, mezclar dicho cloruro de bormo y polibutadieno o dicho copolímero de manera que se proporcione una mezcla de reacción de los mismo, y mantener la citada mezcal de reacción a una temperatura de 0º a 150ºC durante un periodo de tiempo suficiente para conseguir la incorporación de al menos un 55% en peso de átomos de cloro y bromo a la estrucura molecular de dicho polibutadieno o dicho copolímero de manera que cada dos unidades monoméricas del polibutadieno o del citado copolímero contengan al menos un átomo de cloro y al menos un átomo de bromo
