A method for transmitting information in a telecommunication network integrated by pulse code modulation with MIC transmission paths between MIC exchanges, characterized in that the MIC transmission paths (Ues) of a MIC transmission system (M, Ues, M) operating at a given transmission rate are connected, at an invariable transmission rate, between MIC exchanges (VST).
