Abstract

A method for manufacturing an industrial component resistant to severe thermal and chemical conditions, comprising preparing a nickel-based alloy containing, by weight, from 0.05 to 0.15% carbon, from 28 to 35% of chromium, from 2.5 to 6% aluminum, from 0 to 2% silicon, from 0.05 to 0.8% titanium and from 10 to 22% iron, with the conditions that: a) within these ranges the contents of chromium, aluminum, silicon, titanium and iron are related in such a way that they also comply with the relationship (see formula), the rest being, apart from impurities, nickel in an amount of at least 40%, and working this alloy in the way that is convenient in each case, for example, by casting, to obtain the desired industrial component .
