Improvements in apparatus for supplying an atomized mixture of a fluid to the intake of an internal combustion engine, characterized in that each apparatus is provided with a housing box capable of having a passage for flow through it that includes a air intake duct adapted to receive amounts of air from a supply source that has air or a pressure significantly higher than the intake of the utilization equipment to which the mixture is to be supplied; separate elements placed in an opposite position inside said housing box defining a venturi cross section in said passage; liquid intake means for receiving quantities of liquid capable of being mixed and for introducing the received liquid in a substantially uniform manner in the flow path of said intake air; and adjusting means adapted to vary the venturi flow area of said passage in response to the functional demands of the utilization apparatus including displacement means to functionally displace said elements in a geometrically fixed cross-sectional relationship in the direction of and away from each other and other.
