Abstract
Improvements in electronic beam adjusting apparatuses for converging a plurality of coplanar electronic beams, spaced apart from each other, of a cathode ray tube, characterized in that said apparatuses comprise a first set adapted so that it is rotatably mounted in an adjustable way around of the neck section of said tube, said first set including at least one set of a plurality of permanent magnets, spaced equally circumferentially to each other, all the magnets of a set having the same poles disposed towards the center of said section of neck to produce motion of opposite direction in substantially only the outer beams of said bundle of beams; and a second assembly adapted so that it is rotatably mounted in an adjustable manner about the neck section of said tube, said second assembly including at least one set of a plurality, of permanent magnets, spaced circumferentially equally with each other, having all the magnets of a set the same poles arranged towards the center of said neck section to produce motion in the same direction in substantially only the outer beams of said bundle of beams.
