Procedure for obtaining oxadiazolone derivatives of general formula: **(See formula)** where R represents a straight or branched alkyl radical containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a cycloalkyl radical containing from 3 to 6 carbon atoms, R1 and R2, identical or different, represent hydrogen or halogen atoms or alkyl radicals containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R3 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or alkyloxy containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and R4 represents a CONR5R6 radical in where R5 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkenyl containing from 2 to 4 carbon atoms or alkyloxy containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms and R6 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or alkenyl containing from 2 to 4 carbon atoms, characterized in that a product of the general formula is reacted: **(See formula)** in which R5 and R6 are defined as above, on a product of general formula: **(See formula)** where R, R1, R2 and R3 are defined as above and X1 represents a halogen atom.
