Abstract

Aparato de corte frontal para la fabricación de pastillas de material termoplásticos, caracterizado porque comprende: (a) un dispositivo de extrusión que incluye al menos un juego de medios cilíndricos de placas de hileras dotados de una pluralidad de orificios de extruxión que se extienden radialmente y a través de los cuales puede extruirse el material plastificado en caliente; (b) un juego de medios cortantes dotados de un cuerpo cilíndrico montado para girar alrededor de su eje longitudinal que está alineado con el eje de dichos medios de placas de hileras; (c) teniendo asimismo dichos medios cortantes una pluralidad de cuchillas que sobresalen radialmente de dicho cuerpo y que se extienden longitudinalmente a lo largo del mismo; (d) teniendo cada una de dichas cuchillas, en su extremo libre, un filo que está asociado operativamente con la cara de corriente abajo de dichos medios de placas de hileras al girar dichos medios cortantes y que está adaptado para cortar material plastificadoen caliente, extruído a través de dichos orificios, para formar pastillas; (e) estableciendo pares contiguos de dichas cuchillas y la parte de cuerpo correspondiente de dichos medios cortantes unos canales continuos que se extienden longitudinalmente, en donde pueden ser recogidas dichas pastillas.
