Abstract

A process for the preparation of an improved thermoplastic elastomeric copolyester composition, characterized by intimately mixing at least one polycarbo-di-imide, selected from substantially linear polycarbo-di-imides with an average of two carbo-di-imide groups as minimum per molecule, with at least one elastomeric segmented copolyester polymer comprising (1) from 5 to 90% by weight of long chain ester units derived from at least one long chain glycol with a molecular weight of 600-6000 and at least one dicarboxylic acid of low molecular weight, less than about 300 and (2) from 10 to 95% by weight of short-chain ester units derived from at least one low molecular weight diol, less than about 250 and at least one dicarboxylic acid of low molecular weight, less than about 300.
