Abstract
Contraceptive device that has to be placed simultaneously in the uterine cavity and in the cervix and that includes a pair of flexible, curved rods, located in the same plane and whose upper extremities are bent in opposite directions, and a flexible rod bent over itself forming a loop, said device being characterized in that said pair of rods, the loop, and a second pair of rods analogous to the first pair but angularly offset with respect to it, are housed, by means of their lower extremities, in the inside of a hollow cylindrical tube, intended to be placed inside the cervix, which is provided with a widening at its upper extremity and with one or more windows on its lateral wall, the pairs of rods and the loop being located in some planes parallel to the axis of said tube, and because the loop is provided in its upper part with a roughness substantially perpendicular to the plane of di cho loop.
