A cross mixing device for powder material, comprising a means for directing a part of the material from the direction of its current, to a plurality of paths of generally flat configuration; a first means interposed in one of said paths to deflect the movement of material thereof, laterally, in one direction; and a second means interposed in another of said paths to deflect the movement of material thereof, laterally, in a direction opposite to the direction imposed by said first means on the material that moves in said first path.
