Abstract
A method of preparing a new sulfaguanidine compound of the formula: **(See formula)** where is a substituted phenyl group or a 5-6 membered heterocyclic ring containing 1-2 heteroatoms, the heteroatoms being S or N; whose procedure consists of reacting an aldehyde of formula R1CHO with sulfaguanidine in an organic solvent at a temperature of 30º to 150ºC, for 0.5 to 20 hours, and isolating and purifying the new sulfaguanidine thus produced.
