Abstract
A recirculation procedure for the production of cyclohexanone oxime characterized in that an aqueous reaction medium buffered with an acid reaction containing nitrate and phosphoric acid and/or bisulfate ions, is recirculated between a hydrosilamine synthesis zone and a synthesis zone of cyclohexanone oxine, and in the hydroxylonine synthesis zone nitrate ions are catalytically reduced with molecular hydrogen in the presence of a palladium catalyst; because the recirculating liquid, before entering said hydroxylamine synthesis zone, is heated to such a temperature that the total proportion of cyclohexanone and cyclohexanone oxime contaminants is reduced in said recirculating liquid.
