Abstract

Method to regulate the reaction temperatures and the conversion in polymerization reactors, controlling the flow of the catalyst and the temperature of the solvent, characterized by comprising the operations of: - measurement of the temperature values of the products inside or leaving the reactor by means of a detection-transmission device; - transmission of said values to a temperature regulator that compares the received data with a reference value imposed from the outside and that transmits a signal to a second regulator; - transmission of the temperature value of the solvent and catalyst stream, which enters the reactor, to said second temperature regulator, by means of a detection-transmission device; - comparison in said second temperature regulator of the two received values; - transmission by means of said second temperature regulator of a control signal to a mixing device in which solvent streams of different temperatures are combined and in which a stream with the desired temperature is obtained; - transmission of the temperature of said stream to a third temperature regulator by means of a detection-transmission device, connected to the stream of solvent and catalyst that enters the reactor; - comparison by said third regulator of the temperature value transmitted by the detection-transmission device with the reference temperature imposed from the outside for the stream of solvent and catalyst entering the reactor; - transmission by the third regulator of a signal that acts on the valve that regulates the flow of the catalyst injected into the stream of solvent that enters the reactor.
