Abstract
A process for the production of polyether copolymers having an average equivalent weight, with respect to the hydroxyl, of at least 300, and a molecular weight between 1,000 and 6,000, comprising reacting a mixture of one or more polyols, water, present in an amount of at least 5 mol%, based on the total amount of reacting polyol, and at least two alcohol oxides, in the presence of an alkaline catalyst.
