Abstract

The distributor vessel is fixed above the continuous ingot mould on a carrier frame. It is transportable on horizontal guides over the mould from an operating position above the mould to a clearing position and vice versa. Spec., the frame consists of two lateral independently and jointly movable piles supported on carriages. The piles carry the bearings of the distributor vessel.
