A method for interconnecting a control device to a fuel supply manifold, characterized in that it comprises the steps of detachably interconnecting support means to said control device, separably interconnecting said support means to said manifold around said aforementioned side wall means of said collector such that said control device is secured in sealing relationship with said side wall means of said collector only by the interconnection of said support means with said control device and said collector and inlet means of said control device are arranged in fluid communication with the opening means of said collector.
