Abstract
An antenna and heater arrangement, which includes, in combination, a transparent window having an area to be heated, an electroconductive circuit comprising a pair of spaced bus bars extending adjacent a pair of opposite lateral edges spaced from said area, an electroconductive element that connects said busbars, an input wire connected to each of said busbars, and insulating means that have a high impedance to the alternating current at radio frequencies and small resistance to direct current, coupled to each of said input wires, said combination serving as combination of antenna and window heater when one of said means is grounded and the other of said means is coupled to a direct current source, and an antenna circuit of the radio is connected to parallel said ground means.
