Abstract

The invention comprises reactive watersoluble dyestuffs of general formula wherein (Pc) and (Pc)1 are the same or different phthalocyanine radicals each containing 2 or 3 -SO 3 H and/or -SO 2 N(X)Y groups, A 1 and A 2 are divalent aliphatic, aromatic, aliphaticaromatic, cycloaliphatic or heterocyclic radicals which may be interrupted by one or more hetero atoms or groups of hetero atoms R 1 to R 4 are H or optionally substituted C 1 -C 5 alkyl radicals and X and Y are H, C 1 -C 5 alkyl or hydroxyalkyl. The phthalocyanine nucleus may be unmetallized or contain copper or nickel and in preferred dyed A 1 and/or A 2 may contain an azo group. They are prepared by reacting 1 mole of a cyanuric halide in any order with 1 mole of a compound of the formula and with 1 mole of a compound of the formula in aqueous medium at - 5 to + 20 C. at pH 3 to 7, the second reaction taking place at 30-70 C. and pH 5 to 9. The dyes are used to pad, print or dye fibres of natural or regenerated cellulose including cuprammonium rayon.
