Abstract

A heat sensor having heat exchange characteristics corresponding to those a living being has means for supplying heat resensor at the rate which may be varied in dependence upon the activity level so that the temperature of the sensor is maintained at a given and variable level above ambient temperature. The heat sensor may be an NTC resistor receiving heat from an anticipatory heater and the NTC resistor may be part of a bridge network. Alternatively the sensor may be of the expansible fluid type.
