Abstract
The subject-matter of this Specification is described in Specification 1,200,702, except that additional details are given of means for preventing upward movement of the fuse unit due to high pressure gas produced when the fuses blow. These include the provision of stop shoulders 322A and 324A (Fig. 3) in the hood 310 secured to the upper insulator. The claims are concerned with providing in the lower (pivotal) support and the upper (latching) support between which the fuse is held in use, means for preventing axial movement of the fuse unit when the fuse blows.
