Apparatus for the successive distribution of sheets of paper, labels or the like, characterized in that it comprises a fixed hopper for receiving a stack of sheets of paper; a support base for said stack, disposed below the hopper and formed by a flat surface support and a cylindrical surface of axis parallel to the flat surface, which is disposed below the flat surface and is tangent to it; means capable of moving cyclically, in reciprocal movement and rigidly linked to each other, said flat and cylindrical surfaces in a direction perpendicular to said axis; means capable of alternately rotating said cylindrical surface around its own axis, in phase with said alternative movement; a channel for communicating said cylindrical surface with a suction source; intercepting means for cyclically establishing said communication in phase with said rotations and translation, the cycle comprising the step of removing the last of the sheets of paper from the stack, retaining it on the cylindrical surface when said intercepting means establish the communication, transferring it to stations successive after the translation and rotation, and leave it to interrupt the communication.
