Abstract
In a method of, or apparatus for, measuring the quantity or rate of flow of gas having a constant specific mass, a calibrated chamber 5, surrounded by a heat insulating reflector 4, contains a sample, taken from the flowing gas, under specific thermo-dynamic conditions and controller 10 compares and equalizes the gas pressure in the chamber 5 and upstream of a diaphragm 3 by operating a servomotor 13 which actuates a pressure reducing element 2.
