Improvements in circuit control valve instruments, characterized by establishing circuit control means for a reversible liquid motor, comprising a body; a pair of service passages in the body any of which is responsible for the circulation of inlet liquid at a normally high pressure value on one side of a reversible hydromotor, while the other handles the return flow of the liquid from the opposite side of the engine; a pair of normally closed valves, which respond to the pressure, one for each service passage to regulate all liquid circulation, each of said valves moving to an open position in response to the incoming liquid stream under pressure in its service passage; means associated with each valve to translate the pressure of the liquid returning to its service passage in a force on the valve tending to open it; other means associated with each valve to translate the pressure of the liquid returning to its service passage in a force on the valve tending to keep it closed against said force that opens it; and means of controlling the force associated with each valve and sensitive to the pressure of the inlet liquid in the service passage for the other valve, to effect the reduction of said closing force on its valve to a value lower than said force opening in response to the presence of inlet liquid at said normally high pressure value in the service passage for the other valve mentioned and to effect the increase of the closing force on its valve according to a decrease in the pressure of the liquid inlet in the service passage of the aforementioned other valve.
