Abstract

Butaca transformable en litera para autocar o similar, que comprende un chasis sobre el cual está montado un asiento principal que es móvil para permitir el movimiento de un asiento adicional entre una posición de colocación debajo del asiento principal y una posición de servicio en la que es capaz de intercalarse entre los asientos principales de dos butacas sucesivas con el fin de asegurar entre estos dos asientos principales la continuidad de un plano de acostamiento inferior del autocar, comprendiendo además la butaca un respaldo cuyo borde superior está articulado al chasis de manera que permite el movimiento del respaldo entre una posición de butaca en la cual el borde libre del respaldo está situado detrás del asiento, y una posición de litera en la cual el borde libre del respaldo reposa sobre el chasis de una butaca situada delante para constituir un plano de acostamiento superior, caracterizada porque el respaldo está formado por dos partes articuladas una a otra por una articulación horizontal situada, cerca de la superficie superior del asiento principal cuando el respaldo está en posición de butaca, y que es autobloqueante en la dirección de apoyo hacia abajo en posición de litera.
